Pune, 20th June 2021: The state of Maharashtra is facing multiple problems on various fronts like social, political, agriculture, health, education and industry. To discuss these problems in detail and to find out the solutions, the upcoming monsoon session of the state assembly should not be curtailed to less number of days, demanded the Shivaji Nagar BJP MLA Siddharth Shirole.

In an open letter addressed to Uddhav Thackeray, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shirole said, “All the sessions of the state assembly to date were cut short by giving the reason of the pandemic. However, now that we have a concrete option of the vaccination, the monsoon assembly session can be of a full span.”

“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi vaccination is gathering momentum in the country. According to the information that I gathered more than 400 MPs have been vaccinated at the centre and many MLAs and the staff members of the state government who have a role to play in organizing the upcoming monsoon session are either fully vaccinated or have received at least the first jab of the vaccine. The state administration should speed up the vaccination for all related state government employees who still have not received the first jab of the vaccine so that the full-length assembly session can take place this time”, opined Shirole.
