Pune Doctor Performs Life-Saving Surgery to Remove 22cm Abdominal Cyst

Pimpri, 18 January 2023: In a groundbreaking medical achievement, DPU Super Specialty Hospital in Pimpri, Pune, has recently accomplished the intricate removal of a rare 22cm water-filled abdominal cyst, rescuing the life of a 32-year-old female. The patient, who had been enduring the effects of a congenital tumor called lymphangioma for nearly five years, was admitted on 21st November 2023.

The success of the surgery resulted in the patient’s complete recovery, allowing her to be discharged just five days after the procedure on 28th November 2023.
