Pune: Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla Suffers Mild Cardiac Arrest, Now Stable
Pune, 17th November 2023: Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla, Chairman of Poonawalla Group which includes the Serum Institute of India, experienced a mild cardiac arrest on 16th November 2023. He was admitted to Ruby Hall today early morning.
Under the expert supervision of Dr. Purvez Grant, Dr. Makle, and Dr. Abhijeet Khardekar, Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla underwent a successful angioplasty procedure. The medical team ensured efficient and immediate care to address the cardiac issue.
As of the latest update, Dr. Poonawalla is showing a remarkable and fast recovery. According to Ali Daruwala, Advisor at Ruby Hall Clinic, “Dr. Poonawalla is in good health, and his recovery is progressing well.”
