Pune : Drugs Worth Rs 46 Lakh Seized, Four Including A Woman Arrested Mundhwa
Pune 16th August 2023: The Crime Branch Unit of Pune City Police has arrested four people including a woman from Mundhwa and have seized drugs worth Rs 46, 59,000 from their possession. A case in this regard has been registered at Mundhwa Police Station in the matter.
According to police, the members of the Anti Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch had received information about a woman and a person trying to sell drugs in Mundwa area. Accordingly, the police laid a trap and two accused identified as Sagar Kailas Bhosale (26) and a woman were taken into custody. Police have seized 208.950 Mg Mephedrone and 5.550 Mg Cocaine worth Rs 44,11,00 from their posession. Both accused were produced before the court and they were sent to police custody till August 18.
During further investigation in the matter it was revealed that the drugs were supplied by another accused from Dhanori. Accordingly, the police team nabbed two more accused identified as Ajitsingh Indrajeetsing Bhavaniya (40) and Imrareen Garry Green (37). Police found 4 grams of Cocaine and 61 Gram Charas worth Rs 2.48 Lakh in their posession. The arrested accused were handed over to Mundhwa police station for further investigation in the matter.
