Pune: DYPIU’s Online FDP to Equip Educators for a Greener and Sustainable Tomorrow

Pimpri Chinchwad, 16th December 2024: The Department of Chemical Engineering at D Y Patil International University is organizing an Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Sustainable Practices in Energy and Environment Sector” from 16th to 21st December 2024. The programme is approved and funded by the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, Government of India. The event is coordinated by Dr. Shailesh Ghodke and Dr. Utkarsh Maheshwari.

This FDP aims to address pressing global challenges, including energy scarcity, climate change, and environmental degradation. It seeks to empower educators, researchers and industry persons to inspire future generations by fostering awareness and promoting sustainable practices in their academic and professional pursuits.

The event will feature distinguished speakers from academia and industry, including two international experts from Canada, alongside professionals from renowned government and private organizations. Topics will encompass cutting-edge sustainable energy solutions, innovative environmental practices, and strategies for tackling climate challenges.
