Pune: Earthquake of 2.6 Magnitude In Purandar Taluka, Electricity Supply Disrupted

Pune, January 27, 2021: An earthquake of 2.6 magnitudes was reported in Purandar tehsil in Pune district. No life loss or property damage is being reported.

A tremor was felt in villages Sonori, Vanpuri, Dive etc on Tuesday (26th January) at 7:28 pm. The epicentre was located at a depth of 12 km stated data by National Centre for Seismology.

The incident was also confirmed by Rupali Sarnobat, Tehsildar of Purandar taluka. No life loss or property damage is being reported due to the earthquake. The electricity supply line was disturbed and the supply remained shut down for one and half hour between Dive gaon to Saswad.
