Pune: Elderly Woman Robbed Of Jewelry Worth Rs 80,000
Dhankawadi, 13th March 2023: A two-wheeler thief stole a gold necklace worth Rs 80,000 from the neck of an elderly woman after putting Holi colour on her face in the Dhankawadi area. The police have received information that the escaped thief also put colour on his face. A 72-year-old senior woman residing in the Dhankawadi area has filed a complaint at Sahakarnagar police station.
The elderly woman was near the ground in the Chaitanyanagar area of Dhankawadi. At that time, the two-wheeler thief stopped near the woman and coloured her face. Within a few minutes, the thief snatched the gold necklace worth Rs 80,000 from the woman’s neck and ran away. The escaped thief had reportedly coloured his face to hide his identity. Assistant Police Inspector Sameer Shende is investigating the case.
