Pune: Elderly Woman Robbed On Pretext Of Distributing Sarees In Pashan

Pune, 7th November 2022: A thief robbed an elderly woman after he gained her trust by pretending that his boss had been blessed with a son and that he was distributing sarees. After that, the incident of cheating the woman by taking away the gold ornament worth Rs 25,000 from her took place on Sunday (November 6) at around 11.45 am in Pashan area. A 79-year-old woman has filed a complaint at the Chaturshringi police station.

The complainant, an elderly woman, was going to the medical centre on Sunday to get pills. At that time, one followed her and started talking. “My boss has been blessed with a son and is distributing sarees,” saying this the thief took the old lady with him. At that place, he snatched the complainant woman’s gold ornament worth Rs 25,000.
