Pune: Experts To Study Seven Coloured Soil At Raireshwar Plateau

Pune, 11th April 2022: Known for its historical importance, the Raireshwar plateau in Bhor taluka in Pune is always a great attraction for the people in Maharashtra. Recently the place is in news for its seven coloured soil found on the Raireshwar plateau. Experts have collected the sample of the soil for study.

Many tourists visit this place on daily basis. Recently a video of seven coloured soil including red, purple, sky blue and yellow went viral on social media. The soil is found in the northwest direction of the plateau.

A team of experts from Bhavtal NGO including geologist Dr Vidyadgar Borkar, Dr Kantimati Kulkarni, Abhijit Ghorpade, Pushkar Jede, Vanita Pandit and Vaibhav Jagtap collected the soil samples. They will study it with Fergusson college and publish an analysis report soon, said Abhijit Ghorpade.
