Fake Railway Recruitment Racket Busted By Central Railway RPF

Pune, 27 August 2021: Railway Protection Force, Pune in an operation apprehended a Mumbai Based Agent involved in Inter State Racket of forged employment in Railways by taking bribe. One Mumbai based agent named Mayur resident of Bhandup, Mumbai was nabbed on 25.08.2021 at Parcel Gate of Pune Station through a trap laid by a Team of Officers of Railway Protection Force, Pune. Based on the verbal complaint of a lady victim resident of Kalyan, a Trap was arranged by the Crime Investigation Bureau and Inspector Protection Force of Railway Protection Force, Pune. The complainant also stated that the forged employment in Railways was offered for a bribe. Acting on this complaint, a trap was laid by the joint Team of Crime Investigation Bureau & Inspector Protection Force of RPF, Pune lead by Mr. L. K. Sagar, IPF, CIB, Pune and Mr. B. S. Raghuvanshi along with Head Constable/CIB Mr. Rahul Kakade, Head Constable/Pune Bapu Sonawane, Head Constable/Pune Mr. P.C. Sharma, Constable/CIB Mr. Govind Parge succeeded in the mission and nabbed.

The lady complainant attended CIB Office Pune and recognised Agent Mayur Kambli. Later, he was brought to Bhandup Police station and handed over to Polic Inspector /Bhandup Police Station on 25.08.2021 for legal action. After investigating the matter thoroughly a case vide Cr. No. 512/2021 u/s 420, 465,471,476 & 507 IPC is registered against Mayur, Smruti and others on 26.08.2021 at 11.45 hours.

Railway appeals to General Public not to act or believe on unauthorized sources for any employment in Railways.
