Pune: Family Robbed Of Valuables While They Wait To Use The Bathroom At A Roadside

Pune, December 17, 2020: A family gets robbed at gunpoint, enroute Indapur-Mumbai in broad daylight on Tuesday afternoon. The incident took place while the family was travelling in their car and were passing by the Indapur area; they had stopped the car to relieve themselves.

The robbery took place at around noon on Tuesday within the limits of Indapur police station. Ankush Kale has lodged a complaint against four persons at the police station. According to the information received, Kale, a resident of Goregaon in Mumbai, was driving through the Indapur area for some work. He was accompanied by his parents and brothers. Around 3 pm while they were passing by the area, they had stopped the car to relieve themselves. Within a few seconds, four men approached and snatched the car keys. The accused threatened them with weapons and started beating them up.

They looted cash, jewelery, watches, ATM cards and other belongings. Kale has lodged a complaint against the four at the Indapur police station. Police have registered a case and an investigation is underway.
