Pune: Fight Erupts Between Two Groups In Khadki Bazar, 11 Arrested

Pune, 25th September 2022: A heated argument between two innkeeper groups due to an old quarrel took place on 23rd September at around 11:15 pm in the Khadki Bazar area. In this case, counter complaints have been filed, and 11 persons from both groups have been arrested.

Shubham Balkrishna Umale (23), Deepak Rajendra Doke (26), Hitesh or Bapu Satish Chandane (22), Prajyot or Monya Balkrishna Umale (21), Akash or Aku Sanjay Waghmare (22), Salman Nasir Shaikh (25) were identified as the arrested persons. Rabbeel Shaikh (21) has filed a complaint at Khadki Police Station.

Rabbeel Shaikh and his friend had left for Khadki on a two-wheeler on 23rd September around 11 pm. At that time, out of anger over an old quarrel, the accused stabbed Rabeel and seriously injured him. His friends Sudarshan Adsul, Mazhar Sheikh, Rafiq Rabbani, Aqib Khan, and Prateek Sapkal, who had come to mediate the quarrel, were also beaten up and seriously injured. According to the complaint filed by Shubham Umale, Rabbeel Razzak Sheikh (31), Shahbaz Salim Sheikh (18), Rabbin Rafiq Sheikh (25), Pratik Sachin Sapkal (24), Mustafa Zaheer Khan (25) have been arrested.

Kiran Khude, Deepak Doke, Monya Umale, Hitesh alias Bapu Chandane, Salman Nasir Sheikh, and Akash alias Akwua Waghmare were injured. The accused took weapons into their hands and created terror among the citizens of the area.
