Pune: FIR Registered For Negligence After Slab Collapse At Building Construction In Wakad
Wakad, 1st November 2021: Pimpri Chinchwad police have registered an FIR against three employees of Sairaj Buildcon for negligence after a slab of the parking lot parapet collapsed on Saturday night. Nine labourers were injured in the incident.
As per the case filed by Wakad police station, the incident took place at the under-construction project Avon Vista. A parapet slab of the parking lot collapsed around Saturday midnight. During the enquiry, it was found that the supporting stage of the rampart slab wasn’t strong enough and therefore, caved under the pressure while the labourers were at work.
Based on a complaint from PSI Ashok Popat Nimgare, the FIR has been registered against Sairaj Buildcon’s Senior Engineer Devendra Gaikwad, Junior Engineer Ajay Dhage and Site Supervisor Tarun Maldar.
The injured have been identified as Nandu Hari Nishad, (29), Kartik Ruparai Nishad (18), Rajesh Kumar Ganiram Yadav (21), Durgesh Laxminarayan Nishad (30), Ravishankar Bidhilal Sahu (3), Laxman Kumar (22) and Ramratan Nishad (27).
