Pune: First Year Junior College Admission Special Round Schedule Announced, 61,582 Seats Still Vacant

Pune, December 20, 2020: In Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation limits the First Year Junior College (FYJC) online admission schedule for the special rounds have been announced. The proceedings of this first special admission round will start from today by displaying the vacancy lists of colleges. Three rounds of merit lists have already been declared.
This special round will be the last opportunity for students who haven’t confirmed admission or not got allotted any college, can fill online admission and choice forms till 5 pm on December 22. Students can also submit their applications for minority, management and in-house quota to junior colleges.
The students who were not able to fill the form or were restricted can fill the forms. After the verification of data on 23rd December, junior college allotment list will be prepared and the cut-off list will be declared at 11 am on December 24. Students can check and confirm their admissions till 6 pm on December 26. By 8 pm on December 26 the junior college will update the status of admitted students and on 27 December will update the vacancy list for next round.
A total of 1,07,030 seats were shown in 304 junior colleges. 1,01,459 students have been registered for the FYJC admission. Out of which 85,154 students have filled the application and confirmed it.
84,893 applications have been verified. 77,222 students have registered preference order. Admission of 45,448 students has been confirmed and 61,582 seats are vacant.
