Pune : Five Lucky Punekars Awarded With Cars By PMC For Paying Property Tax In Time, 15 Receive Electric Scooters
Pune 21st August 2023: The Pune Municipal Corporation at an event on Sunday announced names of winners for the ‘Lucky Draw’ initiative for citizens who made their tax payment in time. The initiative was launched to encourage citizens to pay their property taxes in time. The winners were given prizes including cars, electric scooters etc.
Five lucky citizens received petrol cars while 15 received electric scooters and a total of 45 people received prizes including laptops and iPhones under this initiative.
This program awarded a total of 45 prizes, including petrol cars, e-bikes, mobile phones, and laptops, to eligible individuals. The program covered individuals who paid their property tax before July 31 and same was extended upto August 2 after the last date to pay tax was extended. The prizes were announced for three different categories of taxpayers including 0 to Rs 25,000, Rs 25,0000 to Rs 50,000 and Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 Lakh.
