Pune: Former BJP Corporator Sanjay Ghule And Three Others Booked For Land Sale Fraud

Mohammed Wadi, 30th March 2023: A case has been registered against former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator Sanjay Ghule and three others for fraud and embezzlement.

According to the court’s order, Sanjay Ghule (50) and Aniket Ghule, both residents of Mohammed Wadi, Hadapsar, and Ganesh Choundhe (52), have been registered under sections of fraud, embezzlement, and threatening at Kondhwa police station. Madhura Ramdas Gaikwad (42), a resident of Mohammed Wadi, Hadapsar, filed a complaint in this regard.

Sanjay Ghule is a former BJP corporator from Kausarbaug-Mohammed Wadi Ward No. 26. Ghule has a vacant place in Survey No. 7 of the said area. Ghule had sold 2.5 guntha area of this place to Gaikwad for Rs 55 lakh. Initially, Rs 12 lakh was taken from Gaikwad in the land purchase transaction.

When Gaikwad asked Ghule about the purchase, she then came to know that the concerned place was sold to another person. After asking about the same to Ghule, he abused and threatened her.

Gaikwad had filed a private criminal complaint in court to register a crime against Ghule in this case. The court heard this complaint and ordered the Kondhwa police to register a case against Ghule and the other three and conduct an investigation.
