Pune: Fraud Of Rs 46,000 By Electrician On Pretext Of Providing Electricity Meter Connection

Kondhwa, 10th November 2022: A case has been registered in the Kondhwa police station against one person who accepted Rs 46,000 from four people for providing a new electricity meter connection and did not give any electricity connection. This case has been registered as per the order of the court.

 

A case has been registered against Nitin Ramesh Naik, a resident of Mahatma Phule Peth, Swargate, Pune. Razak Isaak Sayyid (57), a resident of Mohammadi Heights, Bhagyodayanagar, Kondhwa Budruk has filed a complaint. The incident happened between March 1, 2022, to November 8, 2022.

 

 

According to the information given by the police, Nitin Naik, an electrician, asked for Rs 46,300 from the complainants Razak Sayyid, Munira Khan, Rashida Mahida, and Abu Shaikh for installing new electricity meter connections but did not provide them with any type of meter electricity connection. Also, the amount taken from them was not returned even after being demanded.

 

Therefore, as per the order of the court, a case has been registered against Naik for fraud and embezzlement of money. Further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Vikas Babar.
