Pune: Fraud Of Rs Six Crore In Name Of ‘NASA’; Complaints Of 100 Citizens For Lure Of Refund From Sale Of Rice Puller Machine

Pune, 1st February 2023: It has been revealed that many people have been cheated in the name of the space research centre in America ‘NASA’. In the preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that the accused has embezzled Rs six crore. Bund Garden police have registered a case against four persons. The investigation has revealed that the fraud was done by showing the lure of good returns from the sale of the ‘Rice Puller’ machine.

In this regard, a case has been registered against Ram Gaikwad, a resident of Akluj, District Solapur, Ramchandra Waghmare, Santosh Sakpal, and Rahul Jadhav. Babasaheb Narahari Sonwane (50), a resident of Ganaglenagar, Hadapsar has filed a complaint at Bund Garden Police Station.

The accused had shown that there is a demand for the Rice Puller machine, and if one invests in the purchase of this machine, they get good returns. The accused organized a guidance program for investors in a hotel near Pune station.

Representatives from NASA will be coming to India, and examine this machine and will research the Rice Puller machine. The accused had told the investors that there was a demand for a rice puller, a metal pot. Sonawane has said in the complaint that the accused collected money from citizens through forged documents.

In this case, 100 citizens who were cheated had submitted a complaint application to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW). After that, a case has been registered in this case. It has been revealed that Rs five to six crore have been cheated so far. Assistant Police Inspector Ruikar is investigating.
