Pune: Free Vaccination At 184 Centres In PMC Area On Monday

Pune, 13th June 2021: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to continue vaccination at 184 centres on Monday (June 14) as it has received doses of Covishield and Covaxin from the government. 

100 doses have been made available at each centre. For the first time, such a large number of vaccination centres will be set up in the city in one day, said PMC Additional Commissioner Rubal Agarwal.

The government has provided 11,000 doses of Covishield and 2,300 doses of Covaxin to PMC. The civic body has some dose in balance.  Online booking on Cowinwill start at 8 am on Monday.  

Covishield: Those who have taken the first dose before March 22 will get the second dose. 60 doses reserved for online booking for the first dose for citizens above 45 years of age. The remaining 40 doses will be for the second dose and the first dose for frontline staff, the disabled, lactating mothers, and those who come directly to the centre.

Covaxin: All those who took the first dose before May 16 will get the second dose. 40% vaccine reserved for citizens coming directly to the centre. 60% vaccine for online booking.
