This collaborative project between curator Hrishikesh Pawar and Sasha Waltz began in 2021 intending to unite diverse communities through the language of dance, providing a platform for introspection and expression. ‘In C’, which premiered in March 2021, is a dynamic, modular system developed by Sasha Waltz and Guests, inspired by Terry Riley’s revolutionary composition. The piece explores the dynamics of group interaction, emphasizing individuality within the collective, making each performance unique and democratic.
