Pune: Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Set to Host its 29th Convocation
Pune, 5th October 2023: The esteemed Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) Pune is all set to host its Twenty Ninth Convocation on Saturday, October 7, 2023. The Chief Guest for this distinguished event will be Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Cabinet Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Ajit Ranade, Vice Chancellor of GIPE, will preside over the proceedings. The ceremony will take place at the Kale Memorial Hall, located within the Library Building, and degrees will be awarded to over 400 students.
In attendance will be Chandrakant Patil, the Minister of Higher and Technical Education of the Maharashtra State. Additionally, the Servants of India Society Trustees, Secretary Milind Deshmukh and Trustee Ramakant Lenka, will be present to honour the gathering.
One of the highlights of the convocation will be the public release of the much-anticipated book, ‘Chronicles of an Academic Citadel,’ authored by Prof Naseeb Benjamin and Prof Prabhash N. Rath.
The ceremony will culminate with Colonel Kapil Jodh, Registrar of Gokhale Institute extending the vote of thanks.
