Pune: Goods Worth Nearly Rs 3 Lakh Stolen From Army Jawan’s House

Pune, 26th September 2022: Thieves stole jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh 85 thousand from the house of an army jawan in the Yerawada area. The Yerwada police have registered a case against the thief. 

Naib Subhedar Hemantkumar Bharosaram Vangwal (47) has filed a complaint at the Yerwada Police Station. Vangwal is staying in Army’s Dunkers Line Colony near Aga Khan Palace in Yerwada.

Naib Subhedar Shamal Samanta of Vangwal’s contingent had gone to Goa for training. Samanta’s wife had gone to Kolkata. Reportedly, thieves broke the lock of Samantha’s house and stole the jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh 85 thousand from the cupboard. 

After noticing the theft in Samanta’s house, Vangwal lodged a complaint with the police. Police Sub-Inspector Dombale is investigating the case.
