Pune: Green Groves Apartments Marks 554th Guru Nanak Jayanti with Community Initiatives
Wagholi, 27th November 2023: Green Groves Apartments celebrated the 554th Guru Nanak Jayanti with a series of community-driven events on Saturday. The highlight of the day was a blood donation camp organized at the society clubhouse, emphasizing the spirit of selfless service.
Organizer Ritesh Mujral took the lead in this noble cause, being the first to contribute to the blood donation drive. Another key organizer, Vikas Patel, also participated as a donor, setting a positive example for the community.
In addition to the blood donation camp, several families came together to organize a Langar, fostering unity and equality within the community. The Langar aimed to serve not just a meal but also to spread the message of oneness by embracing and serving everyone.
During the Langar, Vikas Patel and Charanjeet Singh expressed their gratitude to the almighty for providing the opportunity to contribute positively to society on Guru Nanak’s Birthday.
Ritesh Mujral, reflecting on the sense of community, said, “We are truly blessed to be part of such a loving community where we have the chance to learn about different cultures and religions by celebrating all occasions together.”
