Pune: Green Groves Wagholi Marks 555th Guru Nanak Jayanti with Langar and Blood Donation Drive

Wagholi, 18th November 2024: Green Groves Wagholi celebrated the 555th Guru Nanak Jayanti with fervor and community spirit, organizing a series of events that embodied the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The highlight of the celebrations was a langar (community meal) held on November 15th, where food was offered to all, reflecting the Guru’s message of unity, equality, and selfless service.

The langar was organized by residents of Green Groves in collaboration with volunteers from neighboring societies in Wagholi and Kharadi. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, as people from diverse backgrounds came together to share meals and celebrate the Guru’s legacy of inclusiveness.

Continuing the spirit of service, the community hosted a Blood Donation Camp in association with Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, on November 16th. The camp drew donors from various local societies who contributed to this noble cause. Ruby Hall Clinic expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ritesh Mujral for his dedicated efforts in organizing this annual initiative, which significantly benefits the local healthcare community.
