Pune: Hadapsar Industrial Association to Hold Key Meeting on Waste Management and Renewable Energy

Hadapsar, 24th April 2026: The Hadapsar Industrial Association has announced a meeting to address pressing environmental concerns and promote sustainable industrial practices. The meeting is scheduled to be held on April 29, 2026, at 4:00 pm at the Maratha Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) in Hadapsar.

The primary focus of the meeting will be on innovative waste management solutions, particularly the use of gasification technology for waste disposal and the production of briquettes. These approaches are expected to help reduce the burden on the Pune Municipal Corporation and the Pune Cantonment Board, both of which are grappling with growing waste management challenges.

Experts in waste management have been invited to share insights and practical solutions with industry stakeholders. In addition, representatives from a wind energy company will participate, highlighting opportunities in renewable energy and sustainable industrial practices.

According to the organisers, the meeting aims to bring together professionals and industry representatives from diverse sectors to foster meaningful discussions and collaborations. The association believes such interactions will play a crucial role in promoting environmentally responsible practices within the industrial ecosystem.

Jaysingh Sampat, President of the Hadapsar Industrial Association, emphasised the importance of collective efforts in tackling environmental issues. He said the participation of experienced professionals and industry experts would significantly enrich the dialogue and outcomes of the meeting.
