Pune: Hadapsar-Muzaffarpur Train Service Regularised, New Numbers 15589/15590
Pune, 3rd October 2025: The Ministry of Railways has approved the regularization of the Muzaffarpur-Hadapsar (Pune) special train service, converting it into a regular weekly express. The train, earlier running as specials 05289/05290, will now operate with new numbers 15589/15590.
The regular service begins October 6, 2025 from Muzaffarpur and October 8, 2025 from Hadapsar, and will continue until further notice.
Train Schedule
15589 Muzaffarpur–Hadapsar Express: Departs Muzaffarpur at 19:25 hrs every Monday, arriving Hadapsar (Pune) at 06:25 hrs on the third day.
15590 Hadapsar–Muzaffarpur Express: Departs Hadapsar at 10:00 hrs every Wednesday, arriving Muzaffarpur at 21:50 hrs the next day.
Composition
The express will run with 22 LHB coaches, consisting of:
8 AC 2-Tier
12 AC 3-Tier Economy
2 Generator Cars
Route and Halts
The train will stop at Hajipur, Sonpur, Patliputra, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahilyanagar, and Daund Chord Line.
Withdrawal of Special Service
With the introduction of this regular express, special train 05289 will be withdrawn from October 6, 2025, and special train 05290 will be withdrawn from October 8, 2025.
Passengers have been advised to note the new train numbers and timings.
