Pune Handmade Papers to hold Paperweek from May 19-May 24

Pune, May 16, 2023: City-based Pune Handmade Papers will be holding a first-ever Paperweek from Friday May 19, 2023 to Wednesday May 24, 2023 at their campus in Shivajinagar.
The activity is open to all creative enthusiasts from kids to adults and is an opportunity for them to make paper, work on paper and play with paper.
There will be curated workshops for all age-groups by exclusive artists and Pune Handmade Papers artisans. The workshops like the master class art workshops by acclaimed artist Aditya Shirke, book binding, origami, doodling, block printing and making your own paper bags, will be held as part of the Paperweek.
There would be factory tours and handmade paper-making workshops everyday at 11 AM. There will also be spot workshops like paper marbling, painting and making origami lamps. Apart from these, there will be live art demos, a Paper Pop, flea market of interesting sustainable brands on weekends and drumming session on Sunday May 21 morning.
The entry fee, inclusive of the factory tour, is Rs 250, while for those below 10 years, it is Rs 150.
The fees for any one workshop is Rs 1,000, while the fees for any three workshops is Rs 2,500.
