Pune: Health Examination Of Three Lakh Children To Be Conducted In Pune District From November 7

Pune, 1st November 2022: A health examination of three lakh children will be conducted in Pune district. Earlier, two phases of health check-ups have been completed and the third phase will be started from November 7 onwards. Free surgery will be done by the Zilla Parishad on the children with chronic diseases found in the examination.

 

The Health examination of 3.15 lakh children of the district will be conducted through the Women and Child Development Department of Zilla Parishad. Under the child health screening system, all children between zero and six years of age will be examined.

 

 

Earlier in December 2021, the first stage of the examination was conducted and in April 2022, the second stage was conducted. It is advised to check the health of all the children and record the health status and correct information of each child in the child health checkup system. A period of one month has been given for this.

 

In this regard, Chief Executive Ayush Prasad has given instructions that the taluka control committees should review the health of children every ten months and plan meticulously in the work area. Similarly, no child will escape from the health check-up. Prasad also warned that if the work is not completed in time, administrative action will be taken against the concerned.
