Pune: Husband Accused of Injuring Wife’s Private Parts with Screws and Lock; Arrested by Wakad Police
Wakad, 17th May 2024: A shocking case has emerged in Pimpri Chinchwad, where a husband, suspicious of his 28-year-old wife’s character, assaulted her in her private areas. Not only did he attack her, but he also attempted to ‘lock’ her private parts using iron screws and a lock, seriously injuring her in the process. This disturbing incident took place in Wakad on 11th May around 10 PM.
The victim, showing great courage, has filed a complaint with the Wakad Police Station. The police have the accused man (30), a resident of Wakad. The complainant has sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Pimpri Chinchwad.
According to police reports, on the night of 11th May, accused returned home and began arguing with his wife, casting suspicions on her character. He then proceeded to use a blade to make cuts on her private parts, issuing life-threatening threats. He retrieved a knife from the kitchen and, under the threat of this weapon, bound his wife’s hands and legs with a cloth.
Following this, he punctured holes near her private parts, inserted screws, and ‘locked’ them with a copper lock. As a result of these actions, the wife sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital, where she reported the incident to the police.
The Wakad Police have filed a case against the accused under IPC Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (2) (criminal intimidation if the threat is to cause death or grievous hurt, etc.). Police Sub-Inspector Balaji Mete from the Wakad Police Station is currently conducting further investigations into this matter.
