Pune: Indian Army and PMC Join Hands To Enhance Fire-Fighting Skills On International Fire Fighters Day 2023
Pune, 4th May 2023: To commemorate the sacrifices laid down by fire fighters across the globe and spread awareness amongst all ranks, International Fire Fighters Day 2023 was conducted at Pune Camp under the aegis of HQ Southern Command on 04th May 2023. In addition to the fire fighting columns of Indian Army, a column from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) also took active part in imparting training and spreading awareness including sharing latest techniques regarding fire fighting skills to the troops.
The Joint training enhanced the cohesiveness between Indian Army and Pune Municipal Corporation. It was a landmark event in establishing synergy between Military and Civil establishment of Pune.
This jointness & awareness will surely provide impetus and opportunity to perform coordinated fire fighting operations & render maximum aid in minimum possible time to save precious lives & valuable assets.
