Pargaon, 19th May 2025: Residents of four villages in the eastern part of Ambegaon taluka are facing significant difficulties due to an ongoing internet outage at the Loni post office, a key market area. The internet service has been down for the past 10 days, severely disrupting financial and postal transactions.

The Loni post office serves the villages of Loni, Khadakwadi, Walunjnagar, and Ranmala. With the internet connection inactive for over a week, essential services such as payment of home loans, disbursal of subsidies under the PM-Kisan scheme, and withdrawal of savings certificates have come to a halt. This has created considerable inconvenience for local residents, especially as the sowing season approaches, potentially impacting farmers who rely on timely financial support.

Former Sarpanch Uddhavrao Lanke has urged the authorities to restore the internet service at the earliest to prevent further hardship for the villagers.

Meanwhile, the Postmaster of the Loni post office confirmed that repeated requests have been made to the senior office to resolve the issue. He assured that efforts are underway and the internet service will be restored soon.
