Pune: IPS Officer Satya Sai Karthik Seeks Information About Illegal Business In Lonavala
Lonavla, 15th November 2022: The newly appointed Deputy Superintendent of Police of Lonavala Sub-Division, Satya Sai Karthik, has appealed to the public through a press conference that direct action will be taken against the illegal businesses without revealing anyone’s name.
Citizens should contact the police or Karthik directly if there is any kind of illegal business or illegal activity going on anywhere in the Lonavala sub-divisional area.
Karthik inquired about the problems of Lonavla (city and rural) and Kamshet areas of the Lonavla division from local journalists. Also, the expectations of the common citizens from the police system were explained.
Talking to the media after this, Karthik said, “I intend to implement a healthy society and policing by expelling illegal businesses and taking every section of the society along with me. To solve the traffic jam in Lonavala city, as well as Kamshet market and the Karla-Malvali area, the traffic branch and tourism policing will be implemented. All efforts will be made to stop the illegal business in the area.”
He further states that efforts will be made to prevent accidents, and measures will be made to prevent accidents of tourists and citizens on national highways and tourist spots. All police stations in the division are understaffed. Karthik also said that he is trying to increase the measures and has also made a request to the Superintendent of Police (SP).
He further added, “I am not one to continue what is going on in Lonavala. This will change. However, citizens should also support this. Strict action will be taken against illegal businesses, and drug use in Bhushi Dam, Lions Point area. Action will also be taken against music systems playing late at night in private bungalows and illegal activities.”
