Pune: IT Engineer Kills Wife And Son Before His Suicide In Aundh
Aundh, 15th March 2023: Three members of the same family have died by suicide and murder.
According to the police, a man, who worked as an IT engineer, died by suicide after killing his eight-year-old son and wife at their residence in DP Road area of Aundh.
The deceased has been identified as Sudipto Ganguly, 44, who worked at TCS, wife Priyanka (40) and son Tanishk. The police officials stated that both the wife and son were killed by wrapping a polythene bag around their mouths before the husband committed suicide by hanging himself. The motive behind the tragic incident is yet to be determined.
A missing complaint was filed at Chatushringi police station yesterday night, by the brother of Sudipto Ganguly, who lives in Bangalore. It is said that the brother grew suspicious when his calls to the family members went unanswered, and thus, he filed the complaint through his friend.
The investigation is still ongoing, and further details will be revealed in due time.
