Pune: Khadki Police Arrest Thief Involved In Car Theft And Burglaries
Khadki, 17th April 2023: The officials from Khadki police station have arrested Ganesh Sanjay Polke, a 21-year-old man, for his involvement in various crimes such as car theft and burglary in different parts of Pune city and district. The police were able to uncover five crimes committed by him.
According to the police, he would steal motorcycles and two-wheelers to break into houses. Polke, a resident of Patil Estate in Wakdewadi, was out on bail a few months ago when he allegedly started committing thefts again.

The arrest was made after Sandhya Sandip Borkar filed a complaint at Khadki Police Station about her stolen purse. During the investigation, sub-inspector Vaibhav Magdoom received information about Polke’s involvement in the crime. The police team laid a trap and detained him for questioning. During interrogation, Polke confessed to five crimes.
The investigation team included Senior Police Inspector Vishnu Tamhane, Police Inspector Mansingh Patil, Sub Inspector Vaibhav Magadum, and others.
