Pune: Land Acquisition Notification Issued For Hadapsar-Yawat Elevated Corridor
Pune, 23rd September 2026: The Pune district collectorate has issued a land acquisition notification for the proposed Hadapsar-Yawat elevated corridor, with an additional 30 hectares of land to be acquired across Haveli and Daund talukas.
Survey numbers of the land parcels identified for acquisition have also been issued. Santosh Bampelwar, executive engineer of the Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC), said direct measurement of the land parcels will begin from Wednesday.
The foundation stone for the project was recently laid in the presence of chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari.
The 31.5km corridor between Hadapsar and Yawat will have a double-decker flyover. A six-lane road will run at ground level, while the elevated section will have a four-lane road with provision for a Metro corridor.
The additional land is required for Metro stations, terminals, junctions and approach roads planned as part of the elevated corridor.
In Haveli taluka, surveys have been completed in Hadapsar, Manjari Budruk, Kadamwak Vasti, Loni Kalbhor, Kunjirwadi, Sortapwadi, Koregaon Mul and Uruli Kanchan.
Sub-divisional officers and district land acquisition officers have been appointed for the acquisition process in various villages across Haveli and Daund talukas. Officials said the acquisition is expected to be completed within six months as per the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act.
