Pune: Leopard Drags 19-Year-Old For 200 Feet; Forest Department Captures Leopard After 15 Days
Shirur, 22nd October 2022: A 19-year-old girl was injured by a leopard in a Shirur taluka. Reportedly, the young girl was sitting in front of her house at Jambut in Shirur Taluka, when the leopard dragged the girl for 200 feet approximately. This was the second such incident in the last few days.
However, after 15 days, the Forest Department succeeded in imprisoning the leopard. At around 8.00 am this morning, the leopard was captured by the Forest Department. The injured girl has been identified as Pooja Narawade. Pooja broke her leg when she was dragged away 200 feet by a leopard.
