Pune: Man Arrested For Beating Live-In Relationship Girlfriend For Refusing To Have Physical Relations
Hinjawadi, 10th January 2022: A 25-year-old man staying in a live-in relationship with his girlfriend beat her with pan for not giving consent to having a physical relationship. Pimpri Chinchwad police have arrested the youth in this case.
The 25-year-old victim has lodged a complaint with Hinjawadi police station in this regard against the accused Yogeshwar Shashikant Pagare.
According to the police, both are students have been living in the same flat for the past few days in a live-in relationship. Meanwhile, four days ago, around dawn, Yogeshwar asked his girlfriend, “I want to have physical relations with you.” The woman refused and this led to an argument between them.
Out of this rage, Yogeshwar hit the girl on the arm and abdomen with a pan. Yogeshwar also injured her with a plastic pen, according to the complaint.
The woman told her family members about the incident and filed a complaint against Yogeshwar with the Hinjawadi police. Yogeshwar has been arrested in this case; Assistant Inspector Sapna Devtale is conducting further investigation into the incident.
