Pune: Man Injured in Koyta Attack in Pune; Pimpri Chinchwad Police Search for Suspects
Pimpri Chinchwad, 2nd August 2024: A group of four to five people attacked a person with a Koyta due to an old feud. The victim has sustained serious injuries. The incident occurred earlier today around 7 PM near D Mart in Chinchwad.
The injured person has been identified as Tanveer Qureshi, a resident of Nigdi.
According to Senior Police Inspector Ashok Kadlag, Tanveer was attacked near Chinchwad D Mart by the gang. He was seriously injured when stabbed with a Koyta. The attack resulted in severe injuries to his hand and head. He has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Pimpri Police rushed to the scene. Teams have been dispatched to search for the suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
