Pune: Man Kidnapped For Chatting With Female Colleague
Pune, 20th August 2022: A young man working with a private company was kidnapped for chatting with a female employee. He was beaten in Nashik- Kopargaon and other places. Kidnappers threatened to withdraw money from his account and demanded Rs 20 lakh ransom and a car.
The young man managed to free himself from the clutches of the accused and went to the Shirdi police station and asked for help. Shirdi police registered a case in this regard and arrested the accused and this case has been transferred to Pune police.
The accused have been identified as Laghu Vishnu Jadhav (29), a resident of Ahmednagar, Mahesh Bhausaheb Kotme (27), a resident of Nashik, Mangesh Manik Bhabad (37), a resident of Nashik. The 33-year-old man from Wakad has filed a complaint in this regard.
Reportedly, the incident happened on August 17. According to the information given by Senior Inspector Gajanan Pawar of Lonikand police station, Lahu Jadhav has recently started the business snacks centre in the Chandannagar area. The other two accused are his workers.
Lahu Jadhav called the complainant and threatened him not to chat with this woman. He was then invited to meet the accused at Kharadi.
Lahu Jadhav and Mahesh Kotme sat in their car when the complainant went to that place with his car. At that time, Jadhav said that they have all the chats of the complainant and the concerned woman and told him that he is a don (Bhai) of the area and it is his responsibility to protect the Marathi girls.
