Pune: Man Kills Drunk Son Who Abused And Beat Mother

Pune, 21st July 2022: An incident has taken place in Bopodi on Monday (July 18) where the mother was abused by her drunk and alcoholic son was strangled to death by his father. This matter has come to light after the autopsy report. Accordingly, a case of murder has been registered against the father. 

Sunny Nagsen Ghodke (38), a resident of Bopodi has died and his father Nagsen Ghodke (72), a resident of Bopodi has been arrested in this case. 

According to police, Sunny was not doing any work while his father was working on tent fixing. On the day of the incident, Sunny’s dead body was found at Bopodi at around 11:15 am.

At that time, after the body was sent for post-mortem, the report revealed that Sunny’s death was due to severe beating and strangulation. When the police questioned his father about this, he said that he had killed him. When the police asked the reason for killing him then the accused informed that Sunny was an alcoholic. The father said that on the day of the incident, the son had come drunk and abused and beaten his mother and started beating her. 

“The post-mortem report revealed that Sunny was murdered. After being interrogated in his house, his father confessed to the murder of his son. The father said that the incident took place during an argument during which the mother was abused and beaten. A case has been registered against the father in this matter,” said Machindra Chavan, Senior Inspector, Khadki Police Station.
