Pune: MangoApps Distributes Ration To Needy In Ahmednagar District

Pune, 24th May 2021: On Sunday, a smile came to the faces of women in Dhokrai (Joshi vasti) in Shrigonda taluka of Ahmednagar district as a consignment of ration and other basic necessities reached them. An initiative by MangoApps, a software company located in Yerwada, Pune is being applauded.

Ashwin Jangira and Pallavi Gattani, two employees of the MangoApps Software Company initiated the process to help these women. “We wanted to donate some rations and then we got in touch with Satyendra Rathi who always does these kinds of activities for needy people. So we got to know there was a need for a ration for needy single women, some out of work and some are either widowed so we decided to get it delivered to them on an urgent basis”, said Jangira.

After talking to Rathi, Jangira and Pallavi decided to help 31 families in Dhokrai. Many of these families included women who are single with little or no income. They were out of work and some of them were widowed with kids. After getting the preliminary information, they started arranging the donations for ration kits. Company employees along with their friends chipped in and got the ration kits ready.

The kits were delivered to the women by Rathi and their colleagues.
