Pune: Minor Beaten Up By Bakery Owners For Saying Bread Was “Sour”

Pune, 30th December 2022: A 12-year-old boy, who went to the bakery to tell that the bread brought from the bakery had gone sour, was brutally beaten up by three people working in the bakery.

In this regard, a case has been registered against three accused in Samarth police station under IPC sections 324, 323, 352, 504, 506, 34, and 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act, the police informed on Friday.

In this regard, the 38-year-old father of the victim has lodged a complaint with the police. Accordingly, a case has been registered against Khalid Siddique Ansari (53), Faizan Khalid Ansari (29), and Zaid Khalid Ansari (24), all three are residents of Kondhwa, Pune. The incident took place on 29th December around 10.30 am.

The complainant’s son went to the bakery of Master Cakes and Cookies in front of Kumar Galaxy in the Bhawani Peth area. When he went to return the bread he had bought as it was turning sour, the accused at the bakery got angry with him and beat him with hands and bats, verbally abusing him. Throwing the mobile from the same side, they rushed to beat him and abused him. Further investigation in this regard is being conducted by Sub-Inspector S Ranadive of Wanwadi Police Station.
