Pune: Minor Boy Held For Killing Friend After Watching Crime Patrol
Kothrud, February 2, 2021: Pune city police have been successful in unravelling the murder of a 12-year-old boy in Kothrud. The police have detained the victim’s friend, who is also a minor, for the murder.
During the investigation, the police found out that the juvenile accused had killed the victim by hitting his head with a cement brick when the latter had fallen down while playing catch in Kelewadi.
The juvenile accused in the case committed the murder in a very cold way after watching the Crime Patrol series, police said.
The Kothrud police station’s investigation team carried out the probe in a very thorough way and uncovered the crime in the last two days.
The deceased has been identified as Vishwajeet Vajari, resident of Kelewadi, Kothrud. Vishwajeet had been missing since 4 pm on January 29. His relatives had lodged a complaint with the police. Kothrud police were searching for Vishwajeet. His body was found in Kelewadi area on Sunday afternoon.
