Pune: Miscreants Terrorize Residents At Sinhagad Road With Knife, Cops Chase Nab One
Pune, 30th December 2022: Miscreants terrorized the area around Sinhagad Law College in Ambegaon with a koyta (chopper). Two policemen of the Sinhagad Road Police station on patrol chased and caught one of the youths.
The accused have been identified as Karan Dalvi, a resident of Vadgaon, and his minor accomplice. A case has been registered against them at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station.
Dalvi and his companion were walking around Khaugalli, in front of the law college in the Ambegaon area, around 10 pm. They began disturbing and terrorizing citizens around with a knife in their hands. They first vandalised and damaged bikes. Then, they entered a hotel and attacked a customer. After leaving the hotel, they attacked a student on the road. The two terrorized the area for 20 minutes.
Dhananjay Patil and Akshay Ingwale of Sinhagad road police station were patrolling around the area. As soon as they received information about this, they immediately rushed to the spot. On seeing the police, both tried to run; but Patil and Ingwale chased and detained the minor.
