Pune: MNGL Gas Pipeline Caught Fire Again; No Casualties Reported
Kharadi, 14th January 2023: Today (January 14) at 4.16 am, the fire brigade received a call that a fire broke out in the MNGL gas pipeline at Vitthal Borate Nagar in Kharadi. No casualties reported in the said fire broke out.
As soon as the fire brigade received a call, a vehicle from the Yerwada fire station was dispatched to the spot of the accident. As soon as they reached the spot, they saw that the pipeline of MNGL company and a handcart nearby were on fire.
Also, MNGL employees rushed to the said place and closed the other line there. It has been observed that excavation work is going on at the place where the fire broke out and no one was injured in this incident. Just a day ago, a similar incident took place at Rajaram bridge on Sihangad road.
Driver Raghunath Bhoir and jawans Umakant Dagle, Vilin Ravutu, Navnath Waikar, and Amit Wagh from Yerwada fire station carried out the said operation.
