Pune: Mohini Wagh Reveals Husband Satish’s Extramarital Affair, Alleges 10 Years of Abuse During Interrogation

Hadapsar, 28th December 2024: The entire city of Pune has been shaken by the updates in the high-profile kidnapping and murder case of hotelier Satish Wagh. The accused include Satish Wagh’s wife, Mohini, her lover Akshay Jawalkar, and others. Pune Police investigations have revealed that Mohini Wagh had been in an extramarital affair with Jawalkar for years. However, during a recent face-to-face interrogation of the two accused, it was reportedly uncovered that Satish Wagh himself was also involved in an extramarital affair and was allegedly harassing his wife.

Satish Wagh, a hotelier, was kidnapped during his morning walk in the Hadapsar area on 9th December. His body was later found within the jurisdiction of the Yavat Police Station of Pune Rural Police Force. The case garnered significant attention due to Wagh being the maternal uncle of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Yogesh Tilekar. Following the investigation, Akshay Jawalkar and his accomplice were apprehended, which eventually led to the discovery of Mohini Wagh’s involvement. Mohini, who initially displayed signs of mourning and grief, was arrested by Pune Police on 25th December. All the accused were remanded to police custody.

During the interrogation, Mohini Wagh disclosed that for the past 10 years, she had been subjected to mental and physical abuse by her husband, who was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair. This prompted her to begin a relationship with Jawalkar, and together they decided to murder Satish Wagh. The investigation further revealed that the murder had been meticulously planned over the past six months.
