Pune-Mumbai Expressway Alert: Traffic Block And Diversion On Saturday And Sunday For Maintenance

Lonavala, 17th May 2024: The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced that technical inspection and repair work will be conducted on the gantry of the ‘Highway Traffic Management System’ along the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. The maintenance activities are scheduled to take place on May 18 and 19 at KM 27 and KM 55 on the Pune-bound lanes. Consequently, all types of vehicles traveling on the Pune-bound lanes are advised to seek alternative routes.

Traffic will be temporarily halted on the Pune-bound lanes from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on May 18. During this period, vehicles traveling on the expressway via Shandong and Khopoli National Highway No. 48 will be redirected towards Pune. Similarly, on May 19, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, vehicles on the expressway will be temporarily stopped at Kusgaon on National Highway No. 48, and diverted towards Pune via Dehu Road.
