Pune NGOs Join Hand To Provide Relief To Flood, Landslide Affected People In Raigad, Ratnagiri Districts

Pune, 11th August 2021: A group of NGOs from Pune joined hands to provide relief materials to people flood and landslide affected people in Chiplun and Khed taluka of Ratnagiri district and Mahad taluka in Raigad district.

Tuba Foundation’s founder Pari Hamdule said NGOs like Waghmi foundation, JoshConnect, Pune Feed the Need, Sneh Foundation, Pragati Foundation, Sare Jahan Se Acha, Being Volunteer, Hirwa Group, Sneh Foundation, Pragati Foundation and many more had come on one platform and formed a chat group to reach out to the affected areas. Trasport logistics of 30 tonne supplies were supported by Batco Logistics and Mahindra company.

Pari Hamdule of Tuba Foundation, Gauri Phalke Sonali Rasal of PFN provided schools kits and sanitary napkins to 200 kids of Sahajeevan Shikshan Sanstha in Khed taluka.

Samiaraa India and Sathya Natarajan conducted a plastic collection drive with the help of local residents in Chiplun.
