Pune: Night Time Traffic Diversion On Bund Garden Road For Metro Station Construction
Pune, 24th April 2023: The Koregaon Park Traffic division has announced a temporary change in traffic routes to accommodate the steel girder erection of the metro station at Bund Garden on the Pune Metro Reach-3 route between Civil Court and Ramwadi.
The new traffic routes will come into effect immediately and will be in place until further notice. From 10 pm to 6 am, traffic from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar bridge to Tarakeshwar Chowk will be closed. The alternative routes for vehicles will be as follows:
1) Vehicles coming from Pune station towards Yerwada will proceed via Mobaj Chowk, Mangaldas Road, Blue Diamond Chowk, Koregaon Park Junction, and Parnkuti Chowk.
2)Vehicles coming from Pune Station and going to Boat Club will take a left turn at Mobaj Chowk and take Dhole-Patil Road to their destination.
3)Vehicles coming from Boat Club Road and going towards Yerwada will go directly from Sriman Chowk to their destination via Amritlal Mehta Road via Koregaon Park Chowk.
4)Vehicles coming from Yerwada to Pune station will take a right turn at Parnkuti Chowk, Mahatma Gandhi Chowk, Koregaon Park Junction, and Blue Diamond Chowk and proceed to their destination.
The Pune traffic police has urged all commuters to follow the new traffic routes and ensure a safe and smooth flow of traffic. The department will also monitor the traffic situation closely and make necessary adjustments as required.
