Pune: Nine Youths Including Three Minors Booked For Keeping Koyta On Status

Pune, 24th January 2023: In the background of a daily increasing crime of Koyta Gang, Pune Police has become alert and started direct action. Taking into account the background of the crime before the crime, a case has been registered by the Crime Branch Unit 6 against nine people who posted statuses on social media. Three out of nine are minors

Tejas Sanjay Badhe (19), Uday Siddharth Kamble (19), Prasad alias Babu Dhananjay Sonwane (19), all are residents of Theur, taluka Haveli, Rohit Raju Jadhav (20), a resident of Loni Kalbhor, Sangram Bhagwan Thorat (28), a resident of Kadamwakavasti, taluka Haveli, Sham Gurappa Jadhav (43), a resident of Wanwadi, Pune, along with the three minors were taken into custody.

Pune Police has been alerted to stop the terror spread by Koyta Gang. The crime branch team took action against those who possess weapons in their homes or keep weapons on the premises of their homes, as well as those who sell illegal weapons. Crimes have been registered after arresting the leader of the Koyta Gang, which is spreading terror in various places in the city.

If one keeps some gang statuses on social media to challenge their opposition, these statuses lead to many forms of crime. To stop them, the police are now taking a cue and filing a case against the person keeping the status.
